{Pumpkin Season}

This is our Storybook Character Pumpkin that will be displayed in the Media Center until Family Literacy Night. The students suggested favorite storybook characters and then voted on a class favorite. He is designed after the pigeon from the Mo Willems books! I think he turned out great!

{Falling for First Grade}

Fall...what a great time of the year!
We spent a lot of time this week exploring the season and all that it has to offer!
We read a lot of information about leaves, went on a leaf hunt, and made leaf rubbings!

 The students made a Leaf Book, where they wrote a nonfiction and fiction piece of writing starring leaves.

We also read a book called Leaf Man and made our very own!

Of course we ended the week with food! We made these super cute acorn snacks to enjoy!!!
